As a key step in nearly all the services provided by Luhihi Gold Mining Limited, smelting is integral to our daily operations and ensures the seamless progression of our refining processes.
Our Smelting Process
Material Preparation:
Incoming materials, such as doré or scrap, are carefully inspected and prepared for smelting. This ensures consistency and efficiency throughout the process.
High-Temperature Melting:
Using advanced furnaces, the material is melted at precise temperatures to separate gold from other elements.
Purification:
Impurities and unwanted materials are removed during smelting, leaving behind high-purity molten gold.
Forming:
The molten gold is then poured into molds to form bars or converted into grains for further processing in the refinery.
